On March 16th 2026, Team Liquid announced they will be picking up the World Champions Jv92, Kheyze, FelipoX and nade.
These 4 players will join the only returning player for Team Liquid in Maia to form one of the top Brazilian rosters in the world. This huge roster change comes after a very disappointing year in 2025 for Team Liquid where they failed to qualify for both the Munich Major and Six Invitational 2026. Following these performances nesk, the long time center piece of Team Liquids roster and one of the greatest players to ever play the game, decided to retire. This left Team Liquid with a choice to make. Do they just try and fill the gap left my nesk and continue to be a struggling team within the South American League. Or, do they try and "poach" some big name players from already successful teams.
The core of Jv92, Kheyze, FelipoX and nade have been together since Stage 1 of 2023 and have won everything there is to win. In 2023, they won back-to-back Majors and followed it up by winning the Six Invitational 2024. Although this seems like a guaranteed success for Team Liquid, they will be missing the final player from that legendary roster, HerdsZ, who will be staying with Furia for the 2026 year. The biggest question with this roster move will be, can Maia take the place of HerdsZ and recreate this rosters historic success? Or will this be the end of an era for these 4 players?
