After winning the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2025, Team Secret have struggled to find their form in EML Stage 2 2025.

Team Secret have lost 3 of their first 4 games and have only have a total of 3 points. They currently sit outside of a playoff spot and may not even have a chance at qualifying for the Much Major 2025 in November. Six Invitational points are much more valuable this year compared to previous years due to the lack of events. This means that if the EWC Champs can’t qualify for the Munich Major their chances at the Six Invitational 2026 will plummet.

Many people actually attribute their struggles to them winning the Esports World Cup. This is because when a team wins an event like a Major or EWC, they become the team that everyone strives to be. Every team is researching them and trying to emulate their play. This causes the Championship winning team to be “counter-stratted” by everybody and they are forced to either change how they play or play teams that are much more prepared to play them.

Hopefully the Esports World Cup Champs can find a way to return to form and compete at the Munich Major 2025 and qualify for the Six Invitational 2026.
