After Team Liquid failed to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Last Chance Qualifiers, Nesk announced he is officially retiring from Rainbow Six Siege Pro play.
Nesk is one of the longest standing players in the Esport and leaves with a legendary career behind him. He has been with Team Liquid since they entered Rainbow Six Siege and has qualified for every SI except 2017 and now 2026. While Team Liquid hasn't had the most success in recent history, Nesk has won both the Pro League Season 7 Championship and the Brazil November Major 2020 Championship with the org as well as the Pro League Season 7 MVP. Nesk is one of the absolute greats of the game and is a huge reason for the success it has had in Brazil. Thank you Nesk for all these years and we wish you the best in whatever comes next!
Nesk also leaves as one of the statistically best players to ever do it. He finishes with 5506 Career Kills (Most All-Time), 6567 Career Rounds Played (Most All-Time) and 994 Career Entry Kills (2nd All-Time). He also finishes with a 1.10 Career SixStats Rating which is tied for 3rd among players with at least 4000 Rounds Played.
